The CWIB Chronicles team is comprised of the Editor-In-Chief along with six qualified and dedicated staff writers. Heather is a senior majoring in Business Information Technology and minoring in Business Leadership. She also belongs to the Honors College. Heather has been a proud member of CWIB her whole college career. She is incredibly thankful for CWIB’s opportunities because they have helped form her professional identity. Heather is thrilled to serve on the leadership team to give back to CWIB. She believes this online blog is an amazing tool for members to leverage when they want to learn more about business topics. Cara Yates is a senior double majoring in Marketing and Hospitality and Tourism Management. As a staff writer for The CWIB Chronicles, she hopes her articles help give readers the confidence they need to chase after their professional dreams. Allison Wood is a sophomore double majoring in Management Consulting and Analysis and Marketing in Professional Sales. One quality she brings to CWIB is her bubbly, outgoing personality, as she loves meeting new people and taking part in new experiences! Allison is fortunate to have the opportunity to connect with so many inspirational women in business through CWIB. Another attribute she brings to CWIB is her passion for writing. Emma is a sophomore this year from Syracuse, New York. She is majoring in Management and minoring in Professional and Technical Writing. As this is her first year as a CWIB member and CWIB Chronicles staff writer, Emma is excited to learn more about the other members in order to bring them engaging and inspiring stories to help them reach their goals. In addition to being a staff writer, Emma is also a part of CWIB’s Events Committee and is looking forward to planning and executing a variety of events for our members. Outside of CWIB, she is a player for the Women’s Club Basketball team and works as a team manager for the Women’s Varsity Basketball team. Allison is a junior majoring in Business Information Technology and minoring in Computer Science. What she hopes to bring to CWIB is new content for the CWIB Chronicles that motivates and empowers our readership to get involved with the organization and work towards their academic and professional goals. Allison got involved with CWIB as a sophomore and participated in the Boston Trek, where she attended the Harvard Intercollegiate Women in Business Conference. This was a great introduction to the networking and professional development opportunities CWIB has to offer if one chooses to step out of their comfort zone. This summer, Allison studied abroad in China with six other Pamplin students and visited different companies and cultural relics, including the Great Wall! Lina is a freshman majoring in Environmental Informatics but plans on switching to Business Information Technology in the near future. She is so excited to join the CWIB Chronicles team! Lina wants to bring new ideas to the online blog, and become a leader within CWIB itself. Aside from being a staff writer here at The CWIB Chronicles, she also walks dogs for the Vet School through a club called Bonding with Animals through Recreation on Campus (BARC), and she is a member of the Thrive Living-Learning Community.
